An individual therapy session at Rooted Therapy is first and foremost a real, engaged conversation. We talk about what’s happening in your life—work stress, relationships, emotional reactions, or patterns that keep showing up. Together, we take time to understand why those patterns might make sense based on your history.

Along the way, we may draw from psychodynamic and parts-based approaches, as well as mindfulness or body-based tools that are integrated thoughtfully and only when they add clarity, support regulation, or help something click on a deeper level.

Sessions are flexible and responsive to what you need that day. We move at your pace, with the goal of helping you feel more steady, informed, and equipped both inside and outside the therapy room.
